Artist Diploma

Education
Artist Diploma means you jumped through many hoops. As a trained singer, these hoops included preparing opera roles and performing opera roles as well as working up and performing recitals and audition material. It is great fun. The hoops were precisely placed and we were precisely prepared. I would do it all over again. Especially since they give you a little bit of money to do this at the University of Cincinnati. Go Bearcats!!
Master of Music

As a Master of Music student, I took classes in Music Theory and History as well as prepared for a recital and opera roles. This all prepared me to be a Young Artist with the Cincinnati Opera
Bachelor of Music
University of Michigan
At the School of Music, we studied music theory, music history, ear training, dance, opera scenes, choral works, private voice lessons and languages to name a few. Highlights include getting to perform on the wonderful stages around Ann Arbor, including the Power Center, the great Music Hall and other wonderfully acoustic venues. Also getting to play with friends - fellow singers and pianists, is great fun. So much concentrated music making while working towards your degree makes for wonderful adventure.
